Basic Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. Responsibilities for this Position Role Overview The Systems Engineer supports integration of D5LE2 capabilities into Columbia (CLB) production by aligning technical execution, Program of Record (PoR) schedules, and delivery milestones across engineering, production, and program stakeholders. This role ensures system designs, requirements, and engineering deliverables are synchronized with Columbia-class production timelines and contractual commitments. The position focuses on disciplined execution within the PoR environment, maintaining alignment between development activities and shipbuilder, Navy, and program milestone requirements. The Systems Engineer works across Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to identify dependencies, manage integration risks, and ensure technical readiness to support CLB production and on-time capability delivery. This role requires strong systems engineering fundamentals, Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) experience, and the ability to coordinate across organizations to support successful transition from development to production.
