Information Security Analyst
Overview Plans, implements, upgrades and monitors security protocols for the protection of the organization's computer networks and information. Responsibilities The list of essential functions, as outlined herein, is intended to be representative of the duties and responsibilities performed within this classification. Collaborates with users regarding computer data access needs, to identify security threats and violations, and to identify and recommend needed programming or process changes
Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Security, Business, Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university and three (3) to five (5) year of IT Security or Technical Support or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training and/or experience. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND DESIGNATIONS: CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) or CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) preferred KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light work, which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of light weight (up to 40 pounds). ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee may encounter while performing the essential functions of this job.
