The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

The Application Analyst III functions as a senior ServiceNow Business Analyst responsible for driving the design, configuration, and advancement of the ServiceNow platform. In this role, they translate business needs into scalable, efficient ServiceNow solutions that support both operational and strategic goals. They serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, guiding the definition, design, and implementation of workflow solutions across the ServiceNow environment.

Working with minimal supervision, the Application Analyst III operates as a subject matter expert for the ServiceNow platform and provides leadership, direction, and mentorship to ServiceNow team members throughout the Software Development Lifecycle.

Qualifications

Education:
-Preferred: Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience
-Minimum: Associate's degree with four or more years of relevant work experience

Work Experience:
-Preferred 5+ years experience working as a Business Analyst or similar role
-3-5+ years of hands-on experience specifically with the ServiceNow platform
-Experience working in Agile/Scrum or SDLC-driven project environments
-Demonstrated experience supporting ServiceNow upgrades, enhancements, and platform maintenance

Licenses and Certifications:
-ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required, Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications are highly preferred
-Certified Scrum Master highly preferred

-Collaboration & Facilitation: Leads productive discussions, facilitates requirements gathering workshops, and drives alignment during backlog grooming and sprint planning.-Agile & SDLC Discipline: Understands Agile ceremonies and the software development lifecycle; ensures user stories meet readiness standards, and that delivered work follows proper governance.
-Technical Acumen: Possesses the ability to understand ServiceNow platform capabilities, data structures, and workflow logic to effectively translate business needs for development teams.
-Requirements Clarity & Precision: Breaks down complex or ambiguous requests into clear, actionable business requirements and acceptance criteria.
-Quality Mindset: Ensures solutions meet customer expectations through rigorous testing, validation, and adherence to acceptance criteria.
-Prioritization & Decision Making: Assesses business value, effort, and impact to support effective backlog prioritization and release planning.
-Change Management Awareness: Understands the impact of changes on workflows, end users, and training, supporting smooth adoption and communication.
-Analytical Thinking: Uses data and process insights to evaluate workflow performance, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements.
-Communication of Technical Concepts: Translates technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and articulates business needs clearly to technical teams.
-Customer Centric Mindset: Focuses on delivering solutions that address customer needs, improve user experience, and drive measurable value.
