Job Summary:

The AI Delivery Lead is responsible for partnering with clients to identify high-value AI & GenAI use cases aligned to their business objectives, leading AI readiness; defining client roadmaps; and delivering AI products end-to-end from strategy to scaled deployment and operationalization. The incumbent serves as the main client contact and is responsible for implementing, deploying, and configuring AI technologies (e.g., LLMs, ML models) and proprietary AI products for specific client requirements. The role blends AI/GenAI solution architecture, client project management, and agile product delivery. The AI Delivery Lead coordinates with product managers to ensure accurate visibility of latest product features, alignment with roadmap, client project specific documentation, client progress reports, and communications. This position provides operational support to the product team as necessary to launch the new features and relay information to clients. The role ensures that projects are staffed with the right resources, AI initiatives delivery yields measurable results, industry and enterprise standards for security are met, and delivery is made within budget and on time.

Job Duties:

* Serves as the trusted advisor to client executives and leaders on AI delivery and user adoption. Engages between the client and AI product managers to communicate client specific needs, relays project milestones, and aligns roadmaps

* Manages all client communication and documentation, including but not limited to project plans, timelines, schedules, and development documentation

* Leads cross-functional team and performs Scrum Master activities for Agile development on each client engagement

* Coordinates, tracks, and communicates project risks, issues, actions, and decisions

* Collaborates with project leadership to identify and address potential issues and bottlenecks

* Facilitates allocation of resources, equipment, and materials in collaboration with project managers

* Maintains accurate and up-to-date project documentation in systems of record

* Generates regular reports on project progress, milestones, and potential risks

* Enables clear and effective communication within the project team and across the organization

* Manages vendors and collaborates with team members across projects to meet deadlines and supports transition to managed services or client-owned operations through training, documentation and knowledge-transfer

* Monitors and assesses the performance of both AI and human agents to optimize or escalate an issue

* Performs AI Agent Management to include organizing, configuring, and monitoring AI agents such as setting up "human-in-the-loop" checkpoints for critical decisions

* Oversees the AI systems to ensure they comply with regulations (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2, financial regulations) and maintains fairness and security

* Provides additional administrative support as required

* Other duties as required

Supervisory Responsibilities:

* Supervises team of engineers, developers, and analysts (including employees and contractors) to design and develop technically sound, enterprise-grade solutions

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Education:

* High School Diploma, or equivalent, required

* Bachelor's degree, required; focus in Information Technology, preferred

Experience:

* Minimum seven (7) to ten (10) years of overall experience, required

* Minimum five (5) years of experience as a client-facing Business Analyst, Project Manager, or Process Improvement specialist on AI, Advanced Analytics, or Data Science engagements, with demonstrated progression in complexity, scope, and number of projects managed, required

* Minimum two (2) years of experience in LLM-based solutions (e.g.Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Prompt engineering and evaluation, Agent-based workflows, and MLOps/LLMOps), required

Certifications:

* Project Management Professional (PMP), required

* Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) / PMI-ACP, preferred

* Certified Senior Project Manager (IAPM) - CSPM, preferred

* Program Management Professional (PgMP), preferred

* Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), preferred

* Fundamental AI Certification (e.g. Azure AI Fundamentals AI-900 or Azure AI Engineer Associate AI-102), preferred

Software:

* One (1) or more years of experience with major Cloud (AWS, Azure, or Google) AI/GenAI services and tools, required

* Proficient usage of video conferencing software such as Zoom or Teams, required

* Azure AI (OpenAI, AI Studio, Cognitive Services, Fabric, etc.) experience, preferred

Other Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

* Strong organizational and multitasking skills

* Superior attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines

* Ability to complete complex tasks quickly with minimal guidance

* Strong analytical skills

* Ability to design and improve client processes using AI/GenAI

* Ability to contribute to AI proposal development, client pursuits, and business development

* Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision

* Knowledge of document management best practices

* Ability to travel up to 20%

* Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards

Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.

National Range: $150,000 - $190,000

Maryland Range: $150,000 - $190,000

NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $150,000 - $190,000
