JOB SUMMARY:

The Warehouse Team Leader is responsible for providing guidance and support to warehouse and to ensure safety, quality, and all goals are met. This position will handle most of the day-to-day warehouse issues and will serve as a contact point for other departments. This position is responsible for daily reporting, JDE entries, policies and procedures, and to ensure that they are completed in an accurate and timely manner. This is a working position and will assist receiving and/or material handling on a daily basis.

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:



  • Oversee all shipping, receiving, and inventory activities within the warehouse.
  • Receives inventory using JD Edwards tracking system. Assemble and maintain Product specifications and provide technical support for the development of new items. Handles all item setup for the warehouse, production, and routing. Perform other JDE super user functions including but not limited to building/deleting locations, running reports, performing daily maintenance, etc.
  • Schedule, train, and evaluate the personnel performing these activities.
  • Ensure accurate inventory, proper handling of finished product, quarantine materials, and other supplies as required.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure proper handling of all materials.
  • Train personnel on warehouse equipment.
  • Manage warehouse spacing and inventory.
  • Evaluate work performance of materials handlers and or material handler leads yearly, and on an as needed basis.
  • Verify material counts and confirm match to purchase orders.
  • Review carefully all important or contractual paperwork completed within the department, including all required record keeping minimizing problems or potential liabilities.
  • Keep the flow of incoming raw goods and inventory accurate.
  • Schedule appointments by receiving incoming phone calls/emails for appointment requests while also verifying and ensuring the PO is material for the plant. Reschedule appointments, as needed.
  • Load and unload pallets and move them from the dock to the appropriate location in the warehouse. Perform counts to verify physically received versus PO.
  • Sign for inbound mail/freight and sort received mail into totes. Retrieve mail from admin, complete chain of custody form, and send mail totes prior to 10:30am, daily. Ship packages via Fedex office machine (ground shipments completed by 3pm and air shipments completed by 4pm.)
  • Coordinate loads into and out of the warehouse. Move trailers, and raw and finished goods, as required.

Product Security Sensitive - As a product sourcing facility our customers require Rockline to possess security standards and procedures to guard against the introduction of unmanifested cargo, such as illegal drugs, explosives, weapons and people into outbound shipments. This position has contact or influence over these "outbound" shipments and is considered Product Security Sensitive.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential accountabilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.)



  • Minimum High School education
  • Forklift, Clamp Truck experience required
  • Working knowledge of cGMP regulations and guidelines
  • Knowledge of warehouse, receiving, and inventory processes
  • Good understanding of JDE in order to verify that transactions are performed correctly and assist with JDE corrections/cleanup
  • Strong verbal, written, and analytical skills
  • Good math and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload and to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work in a team environment or independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Motivated and a self-starter
