Genesis10 is currently seeking a Business Analyst - M365 Ecosystem for an onsite position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Jacksonville, FL, or Kennesaw, GA. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role will be responsible for requirements definition, analysis, and execution support across multiple enterprise technology initiatives focused on the M365 Ecosystem, Microsoft Information Protection, and large-scale client migrations. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineering, security, compliance, and support teams to ensure solutions align with regulatory requirements and user productivity goals within a large financial services enterprise.

Responsibilities:
  • Define and document business and functional requirements for Microsoft Information Protection, email classification, and data protection initiatives
  • Understand and represent the needs of end users, compliance, legal, security, and business stakeholders
  • Translate regulatory, risk, and security requirements into clear, actionable requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Partner with Product Managers, Architects, and Engineering teams to support solution design and delivery
  • Lead and support large-scale client and platform migrations, including discovery, impact analysis, and execution readiness
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in Email Classification tools and information protection capabilities
  • Collaborate closely with UX teams to ensure solutions are intuitive, efficient, and minimize end-user friction
  • Create, groom, maintain, and update Jira epics, features, and user stories with clear prioritization and traceability
  • Support POCs, UAT, pilot programs, and production rollouts across multiple LOBs
  • Facilitate workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and stakeholder reviews
  • Develop and maintain business process flows, use cases, and user journey documentation
  • Partner with change management teams to support communications, training, and adoption strategies
  • Coordinate testing activities and validate that delivered solutions meet business and compliance requirements
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and impacts across systems, users, and business processes
  • Socialize upcoming changes with operations, support, and impacted business units
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve data protection, classification accuracy, and user experience

Requirements:
  • 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in large enterprise environments
  • Strong business analysis discipline, including requirements elicitation, documentation, and validation
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft Information Protection concepts (sensitivity labels, policies, data classification)
  • Proven experience working on email classification tools in enterprise environments
  • Experience supporting large-scale client or platform migrations
  • Strong user experience (UX) mindset balancing security and usability
  • Excellent executive-level communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge on Data Classification and Automatic Classification
  • Strong influencing and problem-solving skills
  • Extensive Jira experience
  • Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong collaboration and partnership skills
  • Experience working in a highly regulated financial institution
  • Demonstrated success delivering complex, cross-LOB initiatives
  • Experience supporting information protection or data classification programs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Microsoft Information Protection (MIP), Sensitivity Labels, DLP
  • Email Classification tools (e.g., Fortra Data Classification Tool, MIP)
  • Implemented Auto Classification and Purview Policies
  • Microsoft 365 and Outlook-based solutions
  • UX tools and user journey mapping
  • Enterprise software deployment processes
  • Excel (large data sets)
  • PowerPoint (executive presentations)
  • Jira and Agile methodologies

Desired skills:
  • Business Analysis or Agile certification

Pay range: $43.56 - $51.56 per hour
