As a Security Guard - Site Patrol Rounds in Lawnside, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with clear communication and strong customer service. You will document observations, support site procedures, and work as part of a team that acts with integrity in an agile, reliable, innovative, people-first culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site employees, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the warehouse, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and control entry for pedestrians and vehicles, including checking identification, verifying deliveries and/or pickup appointments, and directing traffic flow as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including addressing alarms, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations, and notifying site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Complete security-related reports and logs, document incidents, and perform routine observations of cameras and/or alarm panels to support site operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 2 or more years of security experience.
• Be 21 or more years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
