Overview

This role is primarily responsible for assisting in the paint-line and assembly department. This position also may be required to assist other areas when needed. We have a 2nd Shift Paint Line/Assembly Line opening up in the near future and would train this person on 1st shift. Once 2nd shift is running, the hours would be M-F, 1:30pm-10pm.



Responsibilities

    Helping to load/unload parts off of the paint-line
  • Packaging all of the painted parts
  • Masking parts
  • Assembling parts
  • Other duties assigned


Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Ability to lift up-to 50 pounds, bend, twist and transport product and materials short distances
  • Basic understanding of computers and ability to perform computer functions as they pertain to the job
  • Ability to work collaboratively and productively in a team-environment
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats
  • Ability to work safely and without injury with hand tools in a an environment with metal and sharp objects
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively implement or respond to change
  • Work in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Demonstrated detail orientation, self-motivation skills and ability to multi-task

Job Expectations

  • Previous experience working within a highly technical environment.
  • Strong basic math skills.
  • Previous experience working within a powder coat department.
  • Previous paint application experience
  • Take any quality concern seriously and execute right away.
  • Exposure to a Lean manufacturing environment.
  • General understanding of Metric and Standard systems.
