About This Opportunity

JOB TITLE: Administrative Coordinator - Engineering (Temporary)
POSITION TYPE: Temporary
CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt



Temporary Assignment: 20-25 hours per week.
-Hybrid/Flexible schedule
Approximate Timeframe: End of April - August


Position Overview

The Administrative Coordinator provides transactional and administrative support for Engineering capital projects. This role focuses primarily on processing capital purchase orders and invoices, maintaining supporting documentation, and helping coordinate related follow-ups between Engineering, Finance, and Accounts Payable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and process capital project purchase orders within Oracle R12

  • Track and coordinate capital project invoices in collaboration with Accounts Payable

  • Maintain and update the capital invoice tracking file and related documentation

  • Monitor project approvals using internal systems

  • Assist Engineering staff with project documentation and transactional follow-ups

  • Coordinate communications between Engineering, plant personnel, vendors, and Finance teams when needed

Qualifications

  • Experience creating or processing purchase orders required

  • Basic financial or accounting understanding (AP, invoicing, or project cost tracking)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to coordinate tasks across multiple teams and systems
