Description
As a project manager in the Department of Medicine, you will play a crucial role in the implementation of our departmental strategic plan. Reporting to the Executive Director, Office of the Chair of Medicine, you will work closely with leadership teams to translate strategic goals and objectives into actionable and measurable plans.
Leveraging your project management and communication skills, you will manage a diverse portfolio of strategic projects, providing administrative, analytic, and facilitation support to leadership teams and workgroups. Your responsibilities will include working with leaders to establish the scope of work and project plans; facilitating collaboration and communication between teams; managing timelines and project plans; tracking progress; and communicating progress and updates to key stakeholders. You will managing a regular cadence of project meetings, collaborating with leaders to set the agenda, staff the meetings, and ensure that minutes and action items are generated and distributed. You will also drive implementation efforts and support continuous process improvement across key initiatives.
The full annual salary range for this position is $
70,900.00 - $ 145,200.00 . Please note that the department's target annual pay range is $ 70,900.00 - $ 108,000.00 .
Qualifications
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training
  • Knowledge of common organization- or research-specific and other computer application programs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to use discretion and maintain all confidentiality
  • Analytical / problem-solving skills
  • Strong skills in analyzing, researching, and synthesizing large amounts of data for preparing sound and relevant proposals / analyses
  • Ability to multi-task with demanding timeframes
  • Strong policy analysis techniques.
