Job Description

Position Summary:

Rockwell Automation's Sensing, Safety, & Industrial Component Business is looking for an experienced Scrum Master to be a part of Agile Transformation team. The Scrum Master is a servant leader who helps the team self-organize, self-manage, and achieve its goals by Agile/Lean/Scrum/Kanban practices. You can be a Scrum Master of multiple agile teams. The Scrum Master understands and applies and coaches Agile and Lean principles. The Scrum Master will support creating project plans, Project Management activities like schedule management, estimating risks and effort, accomplishing project goals. The Scrum Master grows an environment for learning and relentless improvement. The Scrum Master helps the agile team coordinate dependencies with other teams and communicates status of these dependencies. Collaborate with other agile teams to promote best practices and lessons learned to increase team and project performance.

You will report to Manager, Agile Transformation of SIC.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with multiple agile teams, and partners to achieve maximum value.
  • Accept additional challenges and tasks to help grow in this role and prepare for future roles.
  • Work on multiple projects as a project team member, occasionally as a project leader
  • This is not a managerial position
  • You will collaborate with and learn from colleagues in a complex, global organization. We provide a working environment with a creative company.

The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • Typically requires 2+ years of experience in product development, project management or related role in an Agile development environment
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies and techniques
  • Experience as a scrum master (with certification) and Agile coach
  • Knowledge of, or experience with Rockwell Automation products or other industrial control equipment
  • Experience aligning and translating business strategy and needs into solution outcomes, breaking it down into Epics, features, and user stories with a clear definition of success.
  • Experience with Scrum/Kanban methodologies.
  • Planning and discussions to lead vision, scope, requirements clarity.
  • Knowledge of Atlassian Tools: Jira, Jira Align
