What offices are we hiring for?

• Kennesaw, GA

Intern Responsibilities:

• Develop ML and deep learning models in Python (PyTorch/TensorFlow/Scikit-learn).

• Analyze engineering and construction datasets (structured and unstructured).

• Build NLP/document tools for drawings, specifications, EPOM docs, and regulatory files.

• Prototype AI for QA/QC automation, safety evaluations, and decision support.

• Collaborate with SMEs in nuclear, transmission, structural, and data center engineering.

• Assistin LLM/SLM experimentation, prompt engineering, and RAG optimization.

What are skills that would be helpful to your success as an intern?

• Graduating with a bachelor's or master's degree from an ABET- accredited school in one of our listed preferred majors.
• Preferred grad date betweenDecember 2026 and May 2027.
• Available to start internship during our main cohort ofMay 18, 2026.
• A solid working foundation with your major's core concepts.
• Proficiencyin Python and ML fundamentals.
• Familiarity withPyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, or Hugging Face.
• Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.
• Experience with Azure ML / Azure AI Services and LLM/RAG architecture.
• Exposure to nuclear, utilities, EPC, or data center engineering contexts.
• Background in optimization, controls, signal processing, or simulation tools (MATLAB/ANSYS/ETAP).
• Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams.
• Ability to effectively problem solve.
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders at client sites.
• Must be able to effectively navigate client sites to conduct walkdowns.
• Must be able to work outside.
• Ability and willingness to travel for client and company projects and/or meetings.

Interview and Employment Requirements:

• Completion of pre interview assessments.
• College transcript submitted for anyone under 1 year of experience post-graduation.
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings, ENERCON and client-specific background checks, and annual motor vehicle record (MVR) checks according to company and client policies.
• ENERCON does not provide sponsorship now or in the future.

The hourly range for this internship is $24-$28/hour. Salary ranges are determined by a combination of role, level, experience, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
