The Propulsion System Subsystem Technical Manager is the propulsion system interface for a vehicle program supporting the Project Chief Vehicle Engineer. The responsibilities include powertrain management for all integration activities and interface for all issues (cost, timing, program planning, launch support, program resolution, etc.). This PSPR will have overall responsibility for the electrification programs. The SSTM will need to develop program timeline integrating propulsion systems tasks and milestones into vehicle timeline and assess and communicate program to plan milestones (via Powertrain Integration (PTI) and Industrial Head (IH) KPI scorecards) and escalate as required. They will maintain Propulsion System scorecard and lead ER and D roll-up process with support from Propulsion System ERD analysis team and Propulsion System functional areas to develop and maintain the powertrain specific cost assessment. The candidate will support and present current roll-up in director cost review and coordinate with Propulsion System Finance, Propulsion System Platform Teams, and cost engineering to develop and maintain component piece cost, tooling cost, and tracking document (Rainbow Chart). They will support use of the Cost Service Tool and post-program approval, facilitate cost offset response with the affected release engineers. The candidate will lead and develop the propulsion systems specific partial spend estimate with support from Propulsion System functional areas and Propulsion System Platform Teams. They communicate Propulsion System specific functional objectives (fuel economy, power, etc.) between vehicle and powertrain teams as well as first level customer functional objectives (vehicle DNA) owned by Vehicle Line Executive Team (VLE) and Vehicle Integration Team (VI). They will have specific engineering objectives may be owned by Propulsion Systems. The candidates will lead Propulsion System specific PC deck content and prepare material, Propulsion System leadership review (GPOM: Global Propulsion System Operations Meeting and/or distribution), support pre-reviews, represent, and present at Industrial Head reviews on behalf of Propulsion System. The PSPR will lead bulletin response for Propulsion System. Basic Qualifications:
