In the role of Senior Project Manager, we'll count on you to:

    • Assist on advisory and permitting projects associated with NPDES/CWA permits, Water Rights, and NEPA compliance.

    • Assist client teams in developing strategy and supporting documents to support permitting and permit negotiations

    • Contribute to and lead the development of NEPA documents

    • Prepare, plan and analyze/review technical studies, regulatory documents, and similar reports/documents related to NPDES, CWA, ESA

    • Monitor changes in regulations at the state and federal level to inform HDR teams and clients of these changes and their implications of projects and operations

    • Support HDR's regional and national initiatives associated with OneWater, water quality, and irrigation.

    • Direct and coordinate work of multidisciplinary teams throughout the project's lifecycle (from development & initiation to close-out)

    • Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently

    • Establish and maintain client relations, and be involved with marketing, contractual, and technical meetings

    • Present project work in client meetings, board meetings, agency/stakeholder meetings, and possibly at technical conferences

    • Coordinate staffing and workload through entire project life cycle, and ensure completion of deliverables on schedule

    • Perform other duties as needed

    • Preferred Qualifications

    • Specific experience with Idaho and other northwest federal clients, water utilities, irrigation districts, and tribes

    • Knowledge of regional water issues

    • Advanced degree in Environmental Science, Policy, or closely related field

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 10 years related experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of project management experience
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office, estimating and scheduling software, project management software
  • Must have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
