As the Director of the Time Away Office (TAO), you'll play a vital role in shaping an equitable, supportive, and studentcentered approach to undergraduate separation and return processes. You'll guide students and collaborate with partners across campus to ensure pathways that promote clarity, belonging, and wellbeing. Be Bold. The Director of the Time Away Office provides strategic leadership for Duke's approach to undergraduate student time away and return. Positioned within the Dean of Students Office, this role sets the vision, standards, and partnerships that uphold consistency, transparency, and compassionate support throughout the student separation and re-entry experience. Anticipated Pay Range: Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position as USD $62,694.00 to USD $107,633.00. Duke University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position; candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills; internal peer equity; as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
