Job Purpose:
We are looking for an Excel Expert / Microsoft 365 Solutions Analyst to help improve how our team uses data to make decisions. In this role, you will use advanced Excel and Microsoft 365 tools to build reports, automate processes, and create dashboards that provide meaningful insights. You will also help maintain data accuracy across systems such as SharePoint and support inventory and reporting processes related to government-furnished equipment (GFE) and the Warehouse Management Information System (WMIS).
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary subject matter expert in Microsoft Excel and related Microsoft 365 tools to drive data reporting and automation solutions.
- Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver meaningful insights through dashboards, KPIs, and interactive reports.
- Maintain and improve data accuracy across dual reporting systems, including SharePoint and Excel-based inventory trackers.
- Incorporate and maintain GFE and credential records, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements.
- Support the configuration, maintenance, and user adoption of SharePoint sites and libraries.
- Assist in the management and integration of WMIS-related data and reporting functions.
- Create automated workflows and business processes using Power Automate and Power Apps.
- Develop data pipelines and scripts to improve data acquisition, transformation, and reporting scalability.
- Administer Microsoft 365 environments including permissions, secure data access, and collaboration tools.
- Build and maintain interactive visualizations and dashboards using Power BI.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, data analytics, business, or a related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of hands-on experience using Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and automation.
- Basic knowledge of Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) and Excel-based coding is required.
- Microsoft Excel Expert Certification is not required at time of hire but the selected candidate must be willing to obtain the certification after employment.
- Experience supporting federal programs or working with Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) tracking systems preferred.
- Familiarity with WMIS or other inventory/logistics systems.
- Knowledge of scripting or programming languages (e.g., XML, JavaScript, ETL tools).
- Hands-on experience with statistical analysis tools such as SPSS, SAS, or advanced Excel models.
- U.S Citizenship is required.
