Position Title: Production
Wage: $16.50 per hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am - 3:00pm (Monday - Friday) Join a dynamic automotive production team in Charles City, IA committed to delivering high-quality vehicle finishes. This role offers the opportunity to develop hands-on skills in vehicle prep, painting, and finishing. Production Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Sand and prep vehicles for painting to ensure a smooth surface - Tape parts that are not designated for painting - Apply paint to vehicles following established procedures - Add stencils to vehicles based on job order - Perform touch-ups and rework as needed to maintain quality standards - Buff and polish vehicles to achieve a finished appearance - Complete finishing work and ensure all tasks meet safety and quality requirements Production Requirements: - Proven ability to perform physical labor including prolonged standing, bending, squatting, reaching, lifting, and twisting during 8-12 hour shifts - Ability to work in warm and humid environments, especially during summer months - Strong attendance record and dependable work ethic - Ability to read and interpret work instructions and blueprints - Flexibility to adapt to changing work processes - Self-motivated with a team-oriented attitude MasonCity@qpsemployment.com IND098 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
