Position Title: Assembly
Wage: $12.50 per hour Shift: 1st or 2nd Hours: 7:00am - 4:30pm (Monday - Thursday) + 7:00am - 11:00am (Friday) or 4:30pm - 2:00am (Monday - Thursday) + 11:00am - 3:00pm (Friday) Join a dynamic manufacturing team in Mason City, IA as an Assembler, where you'll play a key role in producing high-quality air fresheners and scent canisters for a leading retailer. This position offers a hands-on opportunity to develop manufacturing skills within a fast-paced environment. Apply now! Assembly Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Assemble small plastic parts making different types of air fresheners and scent canisters - Package the parts into boxes, label, and palletize them according to shipping requirements - Build boxes and use box cutter to open the product boxes - Attach vent clips to air fresheners - Use hand tools and presses to assemble the product - Sort plastic parts from scraps by placing them in separate bins - Load, operate and maintain production machinery after proper training - Uphold clean and safe work environment through routine checks and enforcement of safety standards Assembly Requirements: - Proven work history with several years of solid employment; resume should detail relevant experience - Ability to work well in a team environment with excellent attendance - Accurate counting and reading skills - Previous assembly experience preferred but not required - Able to perform repetitive bending, reaching, squatting, twisting, and lifting up to 40 pounds during shifts - Physical demands include prolonged sitting or standing for 8-10 hour shifts masoncity@qpsemployment.com IND098 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
