Job Summary
The Senior Manager, Creative leads the strategic development and execution of the Current brand, creative, and content ecosystem. This role is responsible for defining and stewarding the brand across all consumer touchpoints, ensuring consistency, quality, and impact while driving engagement, growth, and revenue.
Operating in a lean, fast-moving startup environment, this role blends high-level strategic leadership with hands-on execution, partnering closely with Marketing, Growth, Product, and external agencies to bring the brand to life.
Duties and Responsibilities
Brand & Creative Leadership
- Own and evolve Current's brand identity, ensuring consistency and excellence across all channels and campaigns.
- Act as creative lead for brand, product, and promotional initiatives, setting creative direction and standards.
- Ensure all creative output aligns with brand strategy, consumer insights, and business objectives.
- Oversee and refine brand standards, visual identity, and tone of voice as the company scales.
Content Strategy & Organic Social
- Lead organic social and content strategy across platforms, balancing brand storytelling with performance-driven content.
- Develop and oversee content planning, production, and execution to drive engagement and awareness.
- Partner with internal teams to align content with product launches, promotions, and seasonal moments.
- Continuously refine content strategy based on performance insights and audience behavior.
Campaigns, Launches & Full-Funnel Messaging
- Lead creative and content strategy for product launches, promotional campaigns, and key brand moments.
- Develop full-funnel messaging frameworks that support awareness, consideration, and conversion.
- Direct creative for paid media, lifecycle, and digital touchpoints to ensure cohesive storytelling and performance.
Cross-Functional & Agency Leadership
- Partner closely with Marketing, Growth, Product, and Leadership teams to align brand and business priorities.
- Lead creative collaboration with external agencies, freelancers, and production partners.
- Improve creative workflows, processes, and ways of working to increase efficiency and clarity.
- Support agency selection, onboarding, and performance evaluation as needed.
Website & Consumer Experience
- Provide strategic and creative input on website initiatives, ensuring brand clarity, engagement, and conversion.
- Partner with marketing and product teams to optimize content architecture and storytelling across digital experiences.
Team & Organizational Leadership
- Support hiring, onboarding, and development of marketing and creative talent as the team grows.
- Act as a brand steward and creative leader across the organization, elevating creative thinking and execution standards.
- Adapt to evolving business needs, stepping in to execute when necessary while building scalable systems for the future.
- Build operational systems and processes as needed.
- Other duties as deemed necessary.

Qualification Requirements
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Advertising, or a related field preferred.
Minimum Work Experience:
- 7-10 years of experience in brand marketing, creative leadership, or content strategy roles.
- Experience managing brand identity and integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing creative agencies or vendors.
- Experience working in high-growth, entrepreneurial, or consumer brand environments preferred.
- Demonstrate a consistent and elevated brand presence across all consumer channels.
- Increased engagement and performance of content, campaigns, and social media initiatives.
- Clear creative direction that enables efficient cross-functional collaboration.
Scalable creative systems and processes that support long-term brand growth.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong brand storytelling and creative direction capabilities.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and content strategy.
- Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong project management and organizational skills in fast-moving environments.
- Ability to maintain a visual acuity of 20/20 with or without aide
- Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness
