Inova Research Center is looking for a dedicated Project Manager to join the Cancer Research team. This role is Full-time working Monday to Friday.

Project Manager Job Responsibilities:

  • Assumes responsibility for implementing new programs and initiatives.
  • Oversees the implementation of all projects and initiatives within the Care Management department and cross-boundary initiatives.
  • Ensures department projects and any interfacing projects meet all objectives are completed on time and within budget.
  • Designs and implements systems/programs for the collection, aggregation, analysis, and dissemination of clinical and financial data.
  • Provides direction and supervision of all newly established programs and processes where required.
  • Ensures consistency of processes within all function areas and points of interface with other disciplines.
  • Provides support for the development and implementation of primary care evidence-based protocols, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensures uniformity of specification in cross-functional projects and programs.
  • Ensures cross-functional efficiency in workflows and processes.
  • Ensures cross-coordination and connection of disparate functions, including coordination between inpatient and outpatient functions.
  • Provides for the aggregation and flow of data/information across functional areas in Care Management and beyond.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in relevant field (or 4 years of experience in lieu of degree)
  • Experience: 3 years of Project Management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Clinical Research experience

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

  • Understanding of the regulatory apparatus for research studies

  • REDCap monitoring (experience building/managing databases)

  • Familiarity working with research budgets and multi-site/vendor collaborations
