Design Engineer Location:Orlando, FL Job ID: #72224 Duration: 12 months contract Pay Range: $56-65 - W2 hourly Active Secret clearance required to start. Job Description: Designs components or portions of systems and modifies existing designs to develop or improve products and facilitate manufacturing operations. Utilizes computer-aided design equipment and/or graphic tools such as, CAD, CAM or CATIA. Gathers information, makes studies, computes calculations, and prepares original rough layouts, sketches to present design proposal. Coordinates design criteria with engineering, manufacturing, tooling, material, and planning group such as ease of manufacture, availability of materials, and contractual specifications. Works under general supervision, receiving instructions for routine tasks and detailed guidance for new assignments. Performs activities following standard procedures. May operate standard equipment for product development, testing, or data processing. Required Experience: Candidates must have at least 4 years of experience with CAD design, specifically CREO Candidates must have at least 4 years of experience with the creation and understand of engineering drawings Candidates must have at least 4 years of experience with BOM (Bill of Materials) Candidates must have at least 4 years of experience with GD&T Benefits provided:401K,medical, dental, and vision, sick time as applicable to state law.
