Reporting to the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, the Director of Residence Life and Housing Experience at Rutgers University-Camden will lead the strategic planning, development, and implementation of a comprehensive residential life program in three residence halls, housing more than 600 students. This individual will be responsible for fostering an inclusive and engaging living environment that supports student learning, personal development, and academic success. The Director will ensure that all housing operations align with the university's mission and strategic goals while enhancing the overall student experience on campus. |

Qualifications
| Minimum Education and Experience |
- Master's degree in higher education administration, student affairs, or a related field required; doctorate preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in residence life, housing administration, or student affairs, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, program development, and implementation within a higher education setting.
- Strong understanding of the issues and challenges facing residential students, particularly in urban or commuter environments.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, forecast housing trends, and optimize operational efficiency.
- Commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion within residential communities.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with various stakeholders.
