PARAMEDIC FIELD SUPERVISOR

Starting at $33.00 / hour with credit given forexperience

Location:The Gorge(754 Silica Road NW, George, WA 98848)

We're hiring aParamedicField Supervisorto oversee day-to-day operations, includingfacilitatinginternal communication between field crews and management, outside facility interface,facilitatingshort-term scheduling needs, equipment, and supply maintenance.

Responsibilities:

  • Interacts, assists, and supports crewsdailythroughout their shifts.

  • Direct, monitor, communicate with, and evaluate all field team members.

  • Ensure maintenance of quality field operations through daily interaction, oversight, communication, and evaluation with field team members.

  • Prepares written feedback for team member evaluations.

  • Proactive in approach to day-to-day operations,implementsprocess improvements.

  • Ensure PCR's and other field paperwork is 100% reconciled daily in conjunction with the PCR processing.

  • Ensure 100% of operational response exceptions are brought to closure withappropriate action.

  • Monitorsequipmentcleanliness andequipmentmaintenance issues.

  • Works with crews tomaintainequipmentcleanliness and proper DHS levels.

  • Makes recommendations to the Training Manager and Clinical Specialist to improve various aspects of the training and QA/QI programs (This may include changes in specific study materials, technology, and standard operating policies, procedures, education, and training).

  • Provide team counseling andguidanceand information regardingGMRoperations.

  • Promptly investigate incidents involving assigned units or team members, including, filing of internal and external reports, and counseling.

  • Directs and leads support staff in inventorying, ordering, receiving, stocking, and issuing medical and shop equipment and supplies.

  • Ensure maintenance of adequate levels of staffing,equipmentand medical supplies for field units.

  • Implement and enforce company policies and standards.

  • Perform direct ALS patient care activitiesas needed.

  • Maintain communication with other agencies and departments.

  • Serve on committees with other departments tosetpolicies and generate ideasas needed.

  • Communicate company goals and standards of excellence through exemplary daily job performance, attitude, initiative, and demeanor.

  • Prepare reports andmanagesprojects asassigned by Operations Supervisor or Operations Manager.

  • Maintain availability during disaster situations or mass casualty incidents and assist in any capacity needed.

  • Attend scheduled meetings.

  • Responsible forcomplying withall local, state, and federal employment laws and company policies. (i.e., Americans with Disability Act, Affirmative Action Plan, etc.)

  • Responsible for supervising,directingand developing subordinates, including completing performance reviews, counseling sessions, etc.

  • Mentor team members, conduct performance evaluations, counsel, and provide disciplinary actions to assigned team members, andworkstofacilitateindividual and team development that drives positive results.

  • Champion affirmative action efforts in all aspects of employment, including but not limited to staffing, training, promotion, etc.

  • Responsible for compliance with and enforcement of company/department policies and procedures.

  • Other duties as assigned.

MinimumRequiredQualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

  • State Paramedic certification or eligible for State certification.

  • State Driver's License.

  • CurrentCPR,PHTLS,andACLScertification,or equivalent credentials.

  • 3 years of EMS experiencerequired.

  • Paramedic field experience is preferred; EMT field experience isconsidered.

  • Drivingrecordin compliance with GMR policy.
