Engineering Intern (Entry Level Intern)

Brown, Inc. has a career opportunity available for a motivated Engineering Intern (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or similar Degrees). Our three divisions, Engineering and Test, Technical Services, and Mission Systems make DTB a diverse and interesting place to work.

Responsibilities included, but are not limited to:

• Set up and run test support systems and equipment for a variety of structural and dynamics testing, including, but not limited to vibration, transportation, shock, noise, impact, drop, handling, and acceleration. Collection of data utilizing vibration control systems, thermocouples, and accelerators.
• Support of various test set-ups
• Troubleshooting test set-ups
• Operate Thermal Chambers.
• Electrical setups.
• Additional responsibilities may be added.

In this role, you will need:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Currently enrolled in a college or university
• Must have strong computer skills (CAD, MS Office, etc.), a plus.
• Must have mechanical aptitude.
• Computer skills required; knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; with a focus on customer service.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
• Must pay attention to detail.
• Must work in a team environment and be a team player.
• Must be able to function in a fast-paced environment with deadlines.
• Understanding of Blueprints/Drawings as well as Military, Aerospace, and Commercial Standards, a plus.
