PURPOSE:


We are seeking a highly organized Marketing Project Coordinator with a strong eye for design and hands-on graphic design experience. You will support design and packaging projects under the close guidance of senior designers. You will gain hands-on experience creating and refining visual assets, learn about the business, develop new skills, and assist in coordinating across teams and departments.


This role is ideal for someone who loves both the structure of project coordination and the creative satisfaction of producing polished marketing materials.


KEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Support the planning, scheduling, and delivery of marketing (print, web, etc.) and packaging projects
  • Maintain and update design briefs, track projects, monitor scope creep, asset delivery and provide status updates
  • Review, refine, and provide design feedback to ensure brand consistency and visual quality across all deliverables.
  • Ensure all deliverables comply with brand guidelines, regulatory requirements, standards, etc., when applicable
  • Manage creative asset libraries, version control, file naming conventions, and approval workflows
  • Manage translation services and design application subscriptions
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings, document decisions, and ensure follow-through on action items
  • Support the creative team by participating in project kick-offs, status meetings, and post-mortems
  • Contribute to graphic design work updating graphic assets as needed - including creating or editing graphics/marketing collateral and packaging using Adobe Creative Suite and minor updates to existing websites
  • Support the marketing team with ad-hoc administrative tasks and process improvements
  • Other duties as assigned


REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCES:



  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, Visual Arts, or a related field is strongly preferred; equivalent and relevant work experience will also be considered.
  • Entrylevel to earlycareer experience in marketing, including creative project coordination, communications, or handson graphic design (social media, digital advertising, websites, branding materials).
  • Strong working proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Microsoft Office and WordPress
  • Strong understanding of project management
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable giving clear creative direction and feedback
  • High attention to detail with excellent proofreading and visual quality-control instincts
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment


PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCES:



  • Experience working in gas/oil industry is a plus
  • Knowledge of brand guideline enforcement, design systems and packaging
  • Project coordination or Agile/Scrum experience
