Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Greenville, TX. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Load development and stress analysis of primary and secondary aircraft structure, equipment racks, and other interior installations using classical analysis methods and finite element techniques.
  • Provide design support, detail stress analysis, and MRB support for the modification of primary aircraft structure and interior items.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $ 125.00/hr

Hours: 5/40 hours/week (1st shift)

Length: Contract (12 months).

Job Requirements

Required skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical.
  • Minimum of 12 years' experience in fixed-wing commercial or military aircraft structural analysis.
  • Minimum of 12 years' experience in Classical stress analysis of primary and secondary aircraft structures
  • Minimum of 12 years' experience in Finite element analysis using MSC Nastran and Client Femap
  • Minimum of 12 years' experience in the construction of air vehicle FEM in Nastran
  • Minimum of 12 years' experience in Calibration and validation of finite element models to test
  • Minimum of 12 years' experience in Testing of composite and metallic structural components
  • Minimum of 12 years' experience in the design and analysis of aircraft structural repairs.
  • Minimum of 12 years' experience in Static strength analysis of major external modifications and primary structure repair and modification of fixed-wing transport category aircraft to FAA requirements.

Preferred skills:

  • Strain gage testing of aircraft for certification
  • Preparation of stress reports for aircraft certification
  • Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Advanced skills in classical and finite element analysis methods.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  • NX (CAD), Teamcenter, and VBA coding in Excel
