NATURE AND SCOPE
VP, Landmark Investment Center is responsible for the management of the retail investment program including the personnel, structure, reporting, monitoring and profitability of the Landmark Investment Center (LIC). Responsibilities include the successful implementation of initiatives and projects to support the retail investment program, promotes teamwork across all areas of Landmark Credit Union (LCU). Manages the retail investment program, including all securities registered and broker-dealer affiliated personnel. Sets overall goals, reporting, monitoring, and coaching of licensed representatives to achieve LIC objectives. Role involves three categories: program management, program sales, profitability and results. Establishes work processes for direct reports and investment program and ensures a high level of member service. Responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of initiatives and projects to support LCU. Promotes and fosters teamwork across all areas of LCU. Responsible for the development and management of direct reports. Represents Landmark in the community and is focused on the development of new business relationships. Must maintain strict standards of confidentiality and perform duties in a manner supporting Landmark's values. The VP, Landmark Investment Center reports to the Chief Experience Officer.


REQUIREMENTS
1. Must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent and/or a minimum of 10 years related job experience. Financial services sales experience and bank management experience are both highly preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
2. Must hold a WI Life and Health Insurance License and Series 7 and Series 66 (or 63 & 65) Securities Licenses. Series 24 license is preferred.
3. Must possess extensive working knowledge of various investment products including life insurance, annuities, stocks, bonds, options, and mutual funds as well as retirement (401k), IRA's and education funding vehicles.
4. Must have knowledge of a PC for word processing, creating spreadsheets, maintaining Contact Management software and communicating with LPL.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, organizational skills and the ability effectively lead a team.
6. Must develop a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures as they relate to this position. Must comply with all company policies and procedures and all job-related state and federal laws and regulations.


PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Responsible for, but not limited to, providing adequate coverage of the markets and/or branches of the credit union, recruiting, relationship management and program-related marketing able to perform the duties of a Senior Investment Representative as needed.
2. Facilitates monitors and implements the business plan to ensure meeting of Landmark Investment Center goals for profitability and growth. Reviews overall business mix and approved products of the program.
3. Prepares, implements and monitors the operating budget of Landmark Investment Center.
4. Creates and maintains long-term, high quality relationship with the broker/dealer. Ensure the program operates within establish regulations and guidelines of the credit union, regulators and broker/dealer.
5. Direct and oversee financial services offering delivered through licensed representatives, and acts as the compliance officer.
6. Responsible for the selection, development, management and retention of direct reports ensuring professionalism and a high level of technical and personal skill.
7. Establishes goals and expectation of direct reports through coaching Financial Advisors and support staff, review of program personnel activity, review of sales activity, monitoring and tracking program performance.
8. Oversees and monitors continuing education, training and development programs.
9. Establishes work processes for direct reports and investment program to ensure a high level of member service.
10. Utilizes automation to ensure efficient operations and effective use of technology.
11. Keeps informed regarding insurance and securities technical knowledge, market trends, automation, and other company information.
12. Development and growth of both internal and external referral sources for the program.
13. Performs other duties as assigned.
