MUST:

Must have an Active Top Secret Clearance

Experience as DoD Exercise planner


5 years of overall experience required

2+ years' experience in project management

Experience working on OSD, Army, or Air Force staffs

Experience working with JCIDS process

Experience working with DoD Architecture Framework

Subject matter expert on highly significant matters relating to policies, programs, capabilities, and exercise goals and objectives for the client.

Experience in designing, developing, planning, assisting in execution and assessing the client in cooperative exercises with the Joint Force Headquarters in accordance with DoD guidance.

Experience determining support requirements for cyber activities within each exercise, experiment, or demonstration.

Experience coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to develop scenarios, events, vignettes; establish execution events, timelines, and communication requirements.

Experience briefing senior leadership at the General Officer, Flag Officer, or Senior Executive Service level

Experience with Combined Joint All-Domain Command and Control (CJADC2) (Preferred)

Experience with Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP) (Preferred)

Bachelor's degree preferred

DUTIES:

Lead, plan, execute, and act as the executive agent for the development and execution of exercises, in multi-service, joint, inter-agency, and allied exercises.


Champion service-level training objectives, develop scenarios and events in support of those training objectives, and participate as exercise controllers, trusted agents, and leaders during exercise planning and

Design, develop, plan, assist in execution and assess the NGB in Cooperative exercises with the 54 JFHQs. in accordance with DoD Guidance.

Setup and attend planning conferences; coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to develop scenarios, events, vignettes; establish execution events, timelines, and communication requirements; and determine support requirements for cyber activities within each exercise, experiment, or demonstration.

Review previous lessons learned and gather historical activity information to assist training audiences in drafting training objectives for each event.

Participate during exercise execution as part of the Exercise Control Group providing oversight, management, and control of events for the exercise.

Provide budget support to the customer, including, projecting current and future budgets for exercises; recommending budgeting guidance for exercises; coordinating with unit finance representatives for exercise support; if required, assist in developing projections for POM inputs for exercises. (Non- Disclosure Agreement (NDA) required)

Develop after action reports to capture Lessons Learned (LL).

Prepare event-related documents (i.e., trip reports, exercise planning/execution products, after-action reports, meeting minutes) within organizational and host-expected time requirements.
