Summary: The Wealth Advisor is a financial planning and sales-focused role within the PeoplesWealth Advisory Group. This position is responsible for delivering comprehensive investment advisory services to clients, including assessing financial needs, developing tailored investment proposals, and executing securities and insurance transactions. The Wealth Advisor builds and maintains strong client relationships, generates new business through internal referrals and community engagement, and serves as an ambassador for the bank's wealth management services. In partnership with bank colleagues, the Wealth Advisor provides education on investment offerings, participates in banking center meetings, and supports joint business development efforts. The role requires strict adherence to all regulatory, broker-dealer, and internal compliance standards, alongside ongoing completion of required training. Success in this position requires strong communication skills, analytical ability, sound decisionmaking, and a commitment to delivering high-quality client service. This role sits in one of our banking centers and can be in Western MA or Hartford CT area. Role is a base salary of $40,000 plus commissions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive investment advisory services to clients, including assessing financial needs and preparing tailored proposals and recommendations.
- Develop new business through existing bank customers, internal referrals, and external lead sources; build and maintain longterm client relationships.
- Execute the purchase and sale of equity and debt securities, mutual funds, and authorized insurance products on behalf of clients.
- Participate in community events to promote the bank's investment services and generate new prospect opportunities.
- Deliver group presentations on financial planning and investment services to attract and engage potential clients.
- Attend banking center meetings to educate associates on wealth management offerings and provide training to enhance referral effectiveness.
- Collaborate with Retail banking center leadership and provide regular updates on wealth management activities, results, and opportunities.
- Join managers and internal partners on business development calls when wealth services are part of the client strategy.
- Adhere to all regulatory, brokerdealer, and internal compliance requirements established by Raymond James, thirdparty broker dealer, and PeoplesBank.
- Complete all required annual compliance training and remain current with federal, state, and bank policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate commitment to delivering highquality client service in alignment with departmental and organization-wide service standards.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- One to three years of relevant experience
Certifications, Licenses and/or Registrations Required:
- FINRA licenses required including Series 7, 63, 65 or 66.
- Life Insurance licenses
- Valid driver's license
Computer Skills:
- Knowledge of MS 365 applications, including Word and Excel
- Financial planning tools

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ensuring clear and professional interactions.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities, with a talent for building and maintaining client and business relationships.
- High level of discretion and integrity, committed to protecting the financial privacy of clients, colleagues, and the organization.

- Ability to define broad problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

- *Work location may vary due to business needs after employment. Frequent travel is required to and from various banking centers within reasonable distance and the PeoplesBank Executive Office in Holyoke, MA. Flexibility is essential for this role.
