We are seeking an Electrical Engineer or Technician that focuses on testing and commissioning of telecom devices and standards/procedures to support field personnel in NY. To provide technical expertise and support from an engineering perspective to ensure effective National Grid operations. At the lower levels this can encompass a range of duties including disturbance investigations, supporting telecom tester training and testing and commissioning support in small- and large-scale engineering projects as well as maintenance activities. At the higher levels this role will also create and maintain procedures and standards for testing and commissioning personnel, audit support, telecom industry committee participation and industry benchmarking of testing and commissioning best practices. Salary $143,000 - $168,000 a year National Grid utilizes an assessment that evaluates the job qualifications/characteristics using AI or statistically based scoring.
