A strategic Social Engagement Specialist with a strong track record of building and engaging vibrant online communities. Skilled in shaping brand voice, fostering authentic conversations, and turning followers into loyal advocates. Experienced in developing engagement strategies, managing cross-platform interactions, and supporting broader marketing goals. Proven ability to handle social crisis response and escalation with timely, brand-aligned communication.

What You'll be Doing:

  • Actively monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions across all social platforms.
  • Foster positive relationships with followers, influencers, community partners, and brand advocates.
  • Identify and engage in relevant conversations to increase brand visibility and sentiment.
  • Act as the first line of defense in managing sensitive or escalated community issues. Collaborate with External Comms, AP, and Customer Care for timely and appropriate responses.
  • Track sentiment, trends, and emerging conversations using social listening tools.
  • Launch Social Strategies, encouraging sharing, referrals, and brand advocacy.
  • Collaborate with the social strategy team to identify and elevate user-generated content.
  • Flag opportunities for evergreen content based on frequently asked questions or common feedback.
  • Connect social media trends into business opportunities across the organization.
  • Assist with the development of organic social media, user-generated content (UGC), and influencer-generated content (IGC).

What You Bring with You (Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Strong written communication skills with a knack for adapting tone and voice.
  • Empathy, curiosity, and a genuine passion for community building.
  • Deep understanding of major social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, etc.).
  • Experience with social listening and analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Talkwalker).
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working within an Enterprise Social Media department is a plus
  • Knowledge of the retail industry is a plus
