We are partnering with a rapidly growing enterprise AI company that helps large organizations transform complex contract and financial data into actionable insights. The company's platform enables businesses to optimize supplier spend, improve governance, and drive better financial decision-making.

The business operates a subscription-based AI platform with global operations and a strong enterprise customer base.

This is an opportunity to join the company at a pivotal growth stage as it scales its finance function and prepares for additional institutional capital.

The Opportunity

The company is seeking a Controller / Head of Finance to lead accounting and financial operations while partnering closely with the CEO and executive team.

This is a hands-on role in a fast-growing startup environment where the finance leader will initially own both accounting execution and financial strategy.

Over time, this position has the potential to grow into a CFO role as the company scales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own accounting operations, financial reporting, and GAAP compliance

  • Manage monthly close, financial statements, AP/AR, and revenue recognition

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning

  • Support investor reporting and upcoming fundraising initiatives

  • Consolidate financials across international subsidiaries

  • Improve financial systems and processes as the company grows

Ideal Candidate
  • CPA required

  • 8-12 years of accounting experience

  • Experience in SaaS or subscription-based business models preferred

  • Comfortable operating in a high-growth startup environment

  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting

  • Exposure to international entities or multi-entity consolidation is a plus
