What you will be doing

    Reviews payroll processes, procedures, audits and payouts to ensure accurate, complete and timely pay to employees.
  • Performs internal and external audits, working closely with business leadership and finance partners.
  • Oversees administration and processing of garnishments and tax programs.
  • Responds to escalated inquiries from stakeholders to ensure accurate, compliant, and effective resolutions.
  • Interprets Company policy and government regulations impacting payroll procedures and communication requirements.
  • Researches issues and provides guidance to company leadership.
  • Maintains knowledge of Company's values and strategic plan.
  • Perform additional assignments per management's direction.


What we are looking for

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 8+ years' experience with in-house payroll processes preferred.
  • Experience with JDE One, UKG and Dayforce environments preferred.
  • Experience working with US and Canadian payroll compliance reporting preferred.
  • Experience leading payroll function and people management required.
  • US Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred.
  • Demonstrated track record of performing detailed analysis and applying business acumen to develop insightful valued-added solutions/process improvements.
  • Effective communications skills (oral and written), including presentations.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Above average planning & organizational skills, results-oriented and the capability of driving multiple projects simultaneously to completion.
  • High initiative, strong judgment and solutions orientation.
  • Proven leadership, mentoring and team management skills required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc) and payroll systems.
