The Lund lab in the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Research Division is recruiting a postdoctoral fellow to work on human mucosal immunity projects. The candidate must be proficient in high-parameter flow cytometry and have extensive experience in experimental immunology. In addition, the candidate must be responsible, organized, and self-motivated, and able to efficiently manage time and experiments.

Responsibilities

    Perform in-depth characterization of the mucosal T cells from human samples by high-parameter flow cytometry
  • Perform data analysis and prepare reports/manuscripts
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must hold PhD in immunology, or a related field
  • Experience with multicolor flow cytometry panels (>25 colors)
  • Experience with mucosal immunology
  • Must be willing to work with pre-clinical animal models and work at Biosafety level 2
  • Must have experience working with viruses.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Expertise in T cell, anti-viral, and mucosal immunology is highly desirable
  • The candidate should have a proven track record of publication and strong written communication skills
  • Must be independent, show initiative, willingness to take up new skills and responsibilities, and be a team player
  • The candidate must be self-motivated, able to multitask and to work within a very collaborative environment

The annual base salary range for this position is from $80,172 to $95,014, and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.

This position is not eligible for H-1B sponsorship at this time.
