Job Duties and Responsibilities The Coatings Process Engineer leads the design, implementation, and optimization of automated powder coating and e-coat manufacturing systems. This role drives capital projects from concept through production launch, ensuring coating processes meet customer, quality, and regulatory requirements. The position is responsible for improving process capability, efficiency, and reliability while advancing surface treatment technologies across manufacturing operations.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Education and Experience * B.S. degree in Engineering - Chemical, Material, or Mechanical Engineering, preferred. * Strong background with semi-automated and automated manufacturing processes. * Experience with Powder Coating and E-Coating of metal parts strongly preferred. * Demonstrated capital project management experience from concept through implementation required. * Experience establishing or launching paint/coating manufacturing line is desired.
