Ecolab is seeking to hire a Senior Quality Engineer to join our team in Roscoe, IL.

The Senior Quality Engineer is responsible for eliminating non-conformances by working with vendors to conduct Root Cause Analysis and implement long-term, sustainable solutions. This role will also allow for the employee to work alongside production to develop a more robust quality system ensuring when product leaves our facility, it is fully functional. There is a lot of collaboration within the team which consists of another quality engineer, 2 quality technicians, and the quality manager. The team reviews the previous day's activities daily to ensure all quality concerns are addressed and being acted on. To be successful in this role you need to be a detail-oriented individual who has strong record keeping skills. This individual needs to have strong communication skills to create relationships with both employees on the floor and vendors.

What You Will Do:

  • Analyze and monitor daily scrap via reports created in PowerBI

  • Support efforts to identify areas within the operations function where safety, quality, delivery, and cost may be improved

  • Drive down the plants overall First Pass Failure (FPF) rate and Defective Parts Per Million (DPPM)

  • Conduct proactive quality meetings with critical suppliers

  • Co-lead the Progressive Quality TPM Pillar team.

  • Apply engineering skills and experience to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost by planning and executing engineering projects while meeting project cost and schedule objectives

  • Develop engineering criteria to plan projects and drive smaller projects from approval and execution to recognize objectives

  • Perform ISO internal audits

  • Perform quality audits on assembly lines to verify processes are being followed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline

  • 2 years of experience in a quality engineering role

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies

  • TPM experience

  • No immigration sponsorship available for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in a quality engineering role

  • Master's Degree in an Engineering discipline

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The pay range for this position is $85,900.00 - $128,900.00. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
