A Brief Overview Training Coordinator II - Division of Human Genetics: A Brief Overview the Training Coordinator II is an essential member of the Division's leadership and education teams and will have the opportunity to collaborate with education leaders within the Division, Department, Enterprise, and multiple external organizations. This role will coordinate, support, and develop training programs and education initiatives in the Division of Human Genetics. The Division of Human Genetics comprises of six fellowship programs (Medical Genetics and Genomics, Pediatrics/Medical Genetics and Genomics, Medical Biochemical Genetics, Clinical Biochemical Genetics, Mitochondrial Medicine, Lysosomal Storage Disease) which require coordination and support by the Training Coordinator role. In addition, this role helps support the ACMG Summer Genetics Scholars Program and Genetic Counselor education.
What you will do Reporting:
- Assist with ACGME and ADS reporting requirements.
- Submit ACGME milestone evaluations.
- Complete CHOP Annual Program Evaluation for each program.
- Manage New Innovation trainee profiles, evaluations and monthly schedule input.
- Complete and submit RPPR yearly NIH report.
- Lead recruitment process.
- Oversee application review.
- Interview day and scheduling and execution.
- Collect and disseminate feedback from interviewers.
- Lead rank meetings, submit rank list and additional paperwork.
Trainee Support:
- Register and maintain profiles with American Board of Medical Genetics and Geonomics (ABMGG).
- Register, schedule, and assist with proctoring of lin-Training Exam (ITE)
- Ensure all documentation is compiled and submitted for graduation.
- Lead rank meetings, submit rank list and additional paperwork.
- ACMG Summer Genetics Scholar Program: Assist with recruitment, onboarding, schedules, and off boarding for scholars.
- Genetic Counselor Student Rotators: Support onboarding, offboarding, and Workday transactions for rotating students.
Administrative Functions:
- Organize and execute Program Evaluation Committee meetings, town Hall meetings, Genetic Grand Rounds, SOC meetings, EAP meetings.
- Schedule and organize didactics.
- Submit CME paperwork for fellows.
- Submit CE data for Genetic Counselors via NSGC.
General:
- Oversee training projects, related work products and support existing programs.
- Ensure educational programs meet compliance and internal standards,
- Lead the development and organization of training programs, workshops and initiatives.
- Administer training and perform support/administrative tasks as needed
Other Duties as Assigned Education Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED - Required
- Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
- Master's Degree - Preferred
Experience Qualifications
- At least three (3) years training related experience. Required
- At least one (1) year experience in a laboratory, clinical or research related environment. Required
- At least five (5) years of training related experience. Preferred
- At least three (3) years of experience in a laboratory, clinical or research related environment. Preferred

$74,250.00 - $94,660.00 Annually
