What does a Senior Manager, Indirect Materials do at Swire Coca-Cola? Lead a team of commodity experts to achieve Supply Chain cost and sustainability targets for non-production items such as janitorial services, software solutions, IT equipment, etc. Cultivate deep understanding of commodity scope and develop strategies meet needs of clients in IT, Sales, Marketing, and other areas. Proactively identify savings opportunities with a focus on sustainable cost and service.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all sourcing completed on time and meeting client expectations
- Guide to follow standard sourcing process (7-step sourcing)
- Prioritize sourcing with team and internal clients
- Identify potential sourcing opportunities based on spend and proactively align with key stakeholders on conducing sourcing
- Benchmark with global procurement and local bottlers
- Identify and implement with suppliers and clients' new technologies, processes, innovations, etc.
- Builds team's experience and skillset
- Identify training/experience gaps with team members and identify training opportunities
- Facilitate communication between internal and external stakeholders related to supplier performance
- Create methodology for quarterly supplier business reviews and lead them
- Work with Procurement Director to set Swire supplier strategy and communicate to bottler system
- Ensure all pricing being entered by buyers is accurate
- Stand in place of Director as needed for supplier and other stakeholder reviews
- Can independently build an executive presentation and present complex topics in a simplistic way
- Manages team's P&L
- Identifies ways to improve EBITDA, creates and implements plan
- Lead sustainable cost reduction activities across all areas of indirect spend
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, finance, or related field required
- Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) CIPS Level 4 or higher (preferred) within 1 year from hire required
- 8+ years of procurement experience required
- 4+ years' Experience identifying cost savings for indirect spend categories required
- 4+ years' Experience leading team of buyers required
- Experience sourcing non-production items such IT equipment, software and services, etc.
- Experience forecasting and building budgets based on forecasts
- Experience in Lean Six Signa methodologies and tools
- Strong interpersonal and supplier management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Knowledge of SAP
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines
- Ability to influence key stakeholders in different departments to achieve goals
