Pay Rate: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

Shift: 7 AM - 3:30 PM

CNC Machinist Skills & Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; machining coursework preferred.
• 2+ years of experience setting up and running CNC machinery-Haas or Mazak experience a plus.
• Strong blueprint reading and math skills for precision work.
• Excellent attention to detail and safety.
• Must be able to lift (up to) 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

How You'll Spend Your Day

• Set up and operate CNC vertical, horizontal, and milling machines
• Perform CNC programming using G-code and make program edits as needed
• Utilize Mazak conversational programming (if applicable)
• Set up jobs including tooling, fixtures, and offsets (touch-offs)
• Conduct quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, and specialty gauges
• Program and support machining processes using CAM software (Edgecam preferred)
• Ensure parts meet specifications and maintain high-quality standards
• Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize processes as needed
