Java Full Stack Lead

Job Expectations:

• Lead engineering teams through modern development practices including automation, AI?assisted development, and cloud-native engineering
• Champion engineering excellence, code quality, and continuous improvement
• Promote proactive operational resiliency through automated monitoring, alerting, and self-healing patterns
• Drive modernization of legacy systems, introducing automation, simplification, and cloud adoption strategies
• Support on-call or production duties as required

• Lead complex, enterprise-wide technology initiatives with broad technical impact
• Define and advocate engineering standards, patterns, and best practices
• Design, develop, test, and document full-stack solutions using Java, Spring Boot, React and/or Angular
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted engineering, including code generation, test automation, pipeline optimization, and documentation automation
• Implement and promote automation-first practices across CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and operational processes
• Architect and implement event-driven and streaming solutions using Apache Kafka
• Evaluate opportunities to infuse GenAI capabilities into products and internal engineering workflows
• Analyze large-scale systems, identify architectural improvements, and drive modernization
• Partner with cross-functional teams including architecture, DevOps, platform engineering, cybersecurity, and business stakeholders
• Mentor engineers, foster engineering excellence, and lead technical design decisions
• Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and production support
• Ensure solutions meet enterprise security, compliance, and regulatory standards

Desired Qualifications:

• Advanced proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, microservices architecture
• Strong front-end engineering experience in React and/or Angular
• Experience with event-driven architectures and Apache Kafka
• Hands-on experience with both RDBMS and NoSQL data systems
• Experience deploying applications on Oracle Cloud Platform (OCP) or equivalent enterprise cloud providers
• Demonstrated experience using Generative AI or AI-assisted engineering tools, including:

  • Automated test generation
  • AI-driven code reviews
  • Automated documentation creation
  • Integrating LLM-based capabilities into applications
  
  
  
  
• Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD automation, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Experience with infrastructure automation, build pipeline automation, and continuous testing
• Knowledge of secure coding, authentication, authorization, encryption, and data protection
• Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with architects, product owners, and senior stakeholders
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Background in banking, financial services, or other regulated industries is a plus
