Production Assistant/Office Assistant Responsibilities: - Maintains accessory area for all accessory items - Maintains inventory levels - Fills customer orders by matching Pick Slips to truck load sheets; pulls orders from accessory shelves - Process UPS pickups - Ability to identify surplus and obsolete items - Assist customers with pick-ups - Maintain inventory of floor stock items - Work with other plants to fill orders as needed - Be backup for the office in the event of an absence or vacation - Assist in other areas of the plant as needed - Order filling - Keeps assigned work area in a neat and orderly fashion that displays both a positive image of the company and allows the job to be performed in an efficient manner - Participates in the physical inventory of accessory items as requested Requirements For Production Assistant/Office Assistant: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Basic math and numerical accuracy - 3 to 6 months experience in manufacturing environment and previous experience with order fulfillment and inventory - Able to lift up to 50 pounds - Comfortable on a ladder while lifting up to 30 pounds - Putting together pallets of accessory items for large orders Madison@qpsemployment.com IND035 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
