Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our client in Oldsmar, FL. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Provide test engineering support to production program integrated product teams (IPTs).
  • Define test process plans, identifying the sequence of needed test steps.
  • Define the needed tools, instruments, fixtures, software, hardware, interfaces, and test chambers needed to execute the test process plan.
  • Develop tests and generate detailed test procedures, including narrative, diagrams, and photographs.
  • Generate detailed troubleshooting guides to aid in the troubleshooting and analysis of the root cause of test failures.
  • Analyze test defect data and trends, helping to define and implement corrective actions.
  • Support the change management activities of the production program IPT.
  • Provide day-to-day test engineering support to the work cell by resolving technician questions, investigating and solving test and product performance problems, and improving test procedures, tooling, fixturing, hardware, software to optimize the test process.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $39.52 - $65.87 / hr.

Hours: 4/10 hrs/Week. (1st shift).

Length: Contract (12 months).

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in test engineering within a production or manufacturing environment.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in CCA test and Circuit troubleshooting.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in design and test of CCAs in multiple technologies (digital, analog, power, RF).
  • Experience with multiple industry automated tester platforms, National Instruments, Autotest, and NHR.
  • Software development experience, multiple test-related languages.
  • Demonstrated experience with automated testers, specifically Teradyne Spectrum 9100. L321, Autotest, National Instruments, and National Research.
  • Ability to review Power, RF, Digital, and Analog test documents, including schematics, parts lists, drawings, and test requirements, to determine a method for testing a given device; then develop the detailed test procedure.
  • Ability to design and troubleshoot test fixtures to interface between the tester and the product.
  • Circuit Cards.
  • Circuit Design.
  • Troubleshooting.
  • Electronics circuit card troubleshooting and testing.
  • Radio Frequency (RF).
