THE ROLE:

In this high-profile role, you will be the overall program leader for keyengineering initiatives from concept to execution. You will work across all ofengineering andbusiness to meet overall initiative and/or product objectives.

THE PERSON:

The right candidate will have solid knowledge of technical program management, an outstanding track record of delivering sophisticated software/hardwareprograms,youwill also drive a schedule for business planningtowards growth that align to business strategy

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Defines, plans, and drives program plans based on management and senior technical guidance, with clear milestones and execution cadence
  • Owns programlevel BIOS/UEFI/firmware deliverables and dependencies, ensuring schedule commitment delivery from emulation through end of life
  • Scopes technical feasibility of new features/products by clarifying and analyzing requirements with Firmware, Silicon/IP, Platform SW, Validation/QA, and Technical Leads
  • Develops and maintains an integrated program schedule factoring silicon/IP readiness, firmware drops, validation gates, and crossteam dependencies; negotiates and creates staffing/resource plans that support delivery
  • Builds, creates, and maintains a welldeveloped, managed, and executed program plan (Plan of Record)
  • Establishes and maintains formal program management artifacts including a Plan of Record, timelines, scope, risk/issue tracking, and readiness reporting (including firmware readiness and key issues)
  • Serves as a primary point of contact for firmware deliverable status and issue healthfor internal stakeholders; advocates strong process discipline for firmware issue tracking and operational firmware processes
  • Identifies development path risks early, defines prevention/mitigation plans, and drives escalation to protect schedule, cost, and quality outcomes
  • Provides concise, executiveready status updates and facilitates crossteam alignment and decision making with Engineering, Product, and Customer-facing stakeholders

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Demonstrated experience delivering embedded software / firmware / BIOS/UEFIprograms (not only generic project/program management)
  • Experience working in or alongside silicon/IP/SoCproduct development teams, with strong understanding of dependency management across firmware, validation, and platform milestones
  • Strong understanding of requirements management, documentation management, and defect/issue management
  • Ability to grasp complex concepts during technical discussions and turn meeting minutes into crisp action items with owners and dates
  • Analytical, selfmotivated, organized, detailoriented, and resultsoriented; thrives in fast-paced, highpressure environments with competing priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal and crossfunctional leadership skills; communicates progress and risks regularly and clearly
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, JIRA, Confluence, and Excel (or equivalent execution tooling)
  • Familiarity with the Semiconductor industry, especially the various functions of graphics firmware, UEFI and platform hardware.
  • Practical experience using AI in program Management

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience in embedded/firmware domain
  • Formal Project Management education; PMP certification desired
