Valiant is looking for an RCM Lead Reliability Analyst (LRA) to join our team!

The RCM Lead Reliability Analyst (LRA) is responsible for the oversight of all RCM (reliability centered maintenance) activities to be performed in accordance with the PWS (Performance Work Statement). The LRA produces routine reports outlined in the PWS and associated documents, such as progress in meeting defined RCM performance milestones, as well as any specialized reports including specific details, data, trends, etc. that may be requested by the government. The primary role of the LRA is the data collection and analysis to assess equipment condition. The LRA identifies equipment defect(s), determines defect severity, and provides a work request to the facility maintenance staff specifying the work required to eliminate the defect.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AN RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Responsible for developing, qualifying, and approving procedures, establishing, and approving techniques, interpreting standards, specifications, and procedures; and designating the methods, techniques, and procedures to be used.
  • Manages the predictive maintenance (PDM) program and ensures that economically viable maintenance technologies that result in reduced facility downtime are implemented in the facilities.
  • Responsible for equipment walk down and information gathering, building and maintaining technology databases, and ability to perform advanced setup work such as AHM, Criticality Analysis, etc.
  • Utilizes the "reliability centered maintenance" (RCM) methodology to ensure that the optimal maintenance practices are applied to each critical asset based upon its operating context; vibration analysis, ultrasonic lubrication and analysis, infrared testing and analysis, precision alignment, thermographic, etc.
  • Responsible for communicating the Company deliverables to the customer.
  • Analyzes data in accordance with industry best practice standards (ISO, ASNT, VI, etc.), maintains technology databases with current information, and reports results in a clear and concise manner following all Company/contractual procedures for content.
  • Responsible for ensuring all databases are in compliance with current standards, managing all database changes, Nuisance Alarm Management, Change Process Adherence, and for the accuracy and the timeliness of all internal and external communications and reporting.
  • Frequently conveys detailed instructions and ideas accurately, loudly and quickly.
  • Prepares an Enhanced Maintenance Plan (EMP).
  • Performs a Preventive Maintenance Optimization (PMO) gap analysis.
  • Creates monthly fault data reports.
  • Travel required to other sites.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

SECURITY REQUIREMENT: Must pass a background check for military installation access.

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION:



  • Must have at least ASNT Level 3/ISO Category 3 Certification in their CM area of specialty (or the ability to obtain Level 3 Certification within 30-60 days of employment), ASNT Level 1/ISO Category 2 in at least one other Secondary CM technology, and a minimum of two years' experience in CM (Ultrasound, Vibration, Infrared Testing and Analysis).
  • High school diploma/GED or higher education.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Must be available on site during normal duty hours (1st shift) and shall respond directly within one (1) hour to the FM (Facility Management) staff for any direct inquiries regarding the configuration and operational status of the planned and ongoing RCM activities.
  • Must be reachable by the Facility Management staff on their company cell phone during normal duty hours.
  • Must have exceptional skills and knowledge in the area of equipment repair, commissioning, quality assurance and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of NFPA, TJC, and local/state codes.
  • Capable of developing, qualifying, and approving all procedures, specifications, advance analysis techniques and standards interpretation, including the designation of CM methods applied to Real Property Installed Equipment (RPIE).
  • Have evidence of corrected hearing meeting a standard pure tone audiometry with results of an average of 25 dBHL or lower.
  • Knowledge of machinery fundamentals, including pumps, motors, gearboxes, blowers, compressors, switchgear, etc.
  • Detailed knowledge of general mechanical fundamentals, such as fits and tolerances.
  • Working knowledge of routine and advanced data acquisition techniques.
  • Working knowledge of other condition monitoring technologies.
  • Must have good communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Proficient computer skills, including but not limited to Windows, Word, and Excel.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to work well independently.
  • Must have good visual abilities - keen visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products, or operate, inspect and adjust machinery.
  • Ability to deal with a variety of variables under often hazardous work conditions. Able to interpret and communicate various instructions.
  • Ability to perform basic math skills, use decimals to compute ratios and percentages, and to draw and interpret graphs.
  • Ability to read a variety of books, magazines, instruction manuals, atlases, and encyclopedias.
  • Ability to prepare memos, reports, and essays using proper punctuation, spelling, and grammar.


PHYSCIAL REQUIREMENTS:



  • Work is performed indoors and outdoors in extreme temperatures ranging from 10F to 120F.
  • Performed in environments with exposure to hazardous/high-pressure gases, hot liquids, and excessive temperatures.
  • Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and respirators when working with hazardous chemicals or gases.
  • Must be physically able to work in confined spaces, such as ductwork and crawl spaces, and on ladders or scaffolds up to 40 ft.
