The Job at a Glance

Our SAP Quality & Automation Lead is the driving force behind testing excellence across our SAP landscape. In this role, you will own the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of our SAP quality assurance and test automation programs, with Tricentis Tosca as your primary platform. You will build and lead a culture of quality across SAP project teams, ensuring that every enhancement, release, and system change is validated with rigor and confidence. Whether we're deploying new functionality, integrating third-party systems, or migrating to S/4HANA, you will be the person who makes sure we get it right before it goes live.

A Typical Day

Own the end-to-end SAP test strategy, including regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing across all SAP modules and connected systems.

* Design, build, maintain, and expand a robust automated test suite using Tricentis Tosca, ensuring broad coverage across SAP functional areas including SD, MM, PP, FI/CO, and GTS.

* Collaborate with functional and technical SAP teams during requirements gathering and design to embed quality considerations early in the development lifecycle.

* Lead and coordinate testing activities across project workstreams, including planning, scheduling, defect management, and stakeholder reporting.

* Partner with ABAP developers, solution architects, and business analysts to triage defects, validate fixes, and ensure root cause analysis drives lasting improvements.

* Establish and enforce test standards, best practices, and documentation templates including Test Plans, Test Cases, Defect Reports, and Test Summary Reports.

* Drive continuous improvement in automation coverage, test execution speed, and overall QA maturity across the SAP program.

* Mentor and guide team members and business testers on testing tools, methodologies, and quality best practices.

To Land This Opportunity

  • You have a minimum of 6 years of experience in SAP quality assurance and testing, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior individual contributor role.
  • You have hands-on, demonstrable experience with Tricentis Tosca for SAP test automation, including test case design, module scanning, and test suite management.

o Bonus Points for Tricentis Tosca certification or experience with Tricentis Test Management for Jira (TM4J) and Tricentis qTest.

  • You have functional knowledge across multiple SAP modules (SD, MM, PP, FI/CO, GTS, WM/EWM) sufficient to design meaningful test scenarios and evaluate test coverage quality.
  • Your experience includes designing and executing integration test strategies for complex SAP environments involving third-party integrations via IDOCS, ODATA, CXML, CPI, or RFC calls.
  • You have experience leading UAT efforts, including coordinating business stakeholders, managing test cycles, and driving sign-off decisions.
  • You have experience testing in distribution or manufacturing SAP environments, including order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and supply chain scenarios.
  • You are familiar with SAP S/4HANA testing considerations and have experience supporting migration, upgrading testing cycles and enhancement deployment.
  • You have experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Service Now.
  • You can write, read, and interpret basic ABAP or scripting to support automation troubleshooting and test data management - full development experience is a plus, not a requirement.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting test results, risk assessments, and quality metrics to both technical teams and business leadership.
  • You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple concurrent test workstreams without dropping the ball.
  • You have a bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • You love to work collaboratively with the team and believe quality is everyone's responsibility - you're here to lead that charge.
