Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Rover

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Rover in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institutions location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and access activity as needed. You will support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service. Guided by our agile, reliable, innovative team, you will act with integrity and put people first.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following site-specific procedures, assisting with directions and/or questions, and communicating concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to alarms, suspicious activity, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency responders when appropriate and following post orders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout financial services areas, offices, parking areas, and building perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and security-related systems such as cameras, badge access, and intrusion notifications, and report irregular conditions per site procedures.
• Complete shift logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation accurately and promptly, and coordinate information handoff to oncoming personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1+ years of security experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control or badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
