As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy retail location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols across sales floors, entrances, and parking areas, staying visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to calls for assistance, support customer service needs, and document observations and incidents using site systems. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with customer issues and disturbances in a retail location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading zones and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, potential theft indicators and policy violations, then report observations and escalate concerns through established communication channels.
• Complete required reports and documentation for incidents, patrols, hazards and service calls, and communicate updates to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A New York State Security Guard License is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
