Security Officer - Warehouse Dock Patrol

As a Security Officer - Warehouse Dock Patrol in Lithia Springs, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Security Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet associates and drivers, control access as needed, respond to alarms and/or concerns, and document observations with clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and notifying site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouses, yard areas, loading docks, office spaces, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, screens, and/or alarm panels, verifying authorized entry for employees, contractors, and drivers while supporting visitor and delivery check-in processes.
• Complete detailed reports and shift handoffs, including incident reports, patrol observations, and security-related maintenance issues such as lighting, doors, and gate conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
