Job Description




As a Security Officer - Hotel Campus Patrol in Panama City Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will greet guests and staff with professional customer service, communicate clearly, and document observations and activities. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to guests, residents, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a hotel and resort location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including guest concerns, disturbances, and medical situations, and communicate updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of lobbies, corridors, amenity areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor access points and observe guest traffic for unusual behavior, assist with key control and lost and found processes as assigned, and support guest service requests within post orders.
  • Complete routine reports such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity documentation, and assist with investigations by preserving information and coordinating with local emergency services when required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
