As a Security Officer - High-Rise Patrol Driver in South San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, so you will use a company or site vehicle to cover multiple areas, document observations, and communicate clearly with tenants, guests, and the team. Why Join Us: What You'll Do: - Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including building common areas, parking areas, loading and delivery zones, and perimeter routes; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
- Monitor for unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance issues and report observations to property management and/or Allied Universal supervision per post orders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical situations, disturbances, and fire or alarm activations.
- Control access to restricted areas as assigned, verifying credentials and directing visitors, vendors, and contractors to appropriate check-in locations.
- Document patrols, incidents, and client requests using required reporting methods, including written logs and/or electronic reporting tools.
- Operate and observe security-related systems as assigned, such as access control points, visitor management processes, and CCTV monitoring, and report concerns per site procedures.
- Assist with after-hours rounds and door checks, confirming doors, gates, and designated areas are secured per site policy and reporting discrepancies.
- Support property operations by providing directions, assisting with lost and found inquiries, and coordinating with building engineering and/or management when issues are identified.
- Communicate professionally with building staff, first responders, and Allied Universal leadership, escalating concerns according to site-specific protocols.
Minimum Requirements: - - Be at least 21 years of age.
- - A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- - Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
